Beggs Council approves requests at meeting
In the first meeting for newly-elected mayor Roger Merrill and councilman Cody Burton, Beggs City Council approved two Planning and Zoning Commission recommendations, tabled another and awarded a bid for fencing around a portion of the water treatment plant during its April 14 meeting. Merrill and Burton were sworn in earlier Monday by City Clerk Doris Tharp in Council Chambers.
