BCCI set to raise pay of domestic umpires, match referees from new season
The Board of Control for Cricket in India is set to raise the match fees of domestic umpires and match referees from the 2026-27 season, which will resume after the Duleep Trophy with the Ranji Trophy -the premier red-ball domestic competition- on Oct 11.
Umpires Fees: It is learnt that the BCCI has taken a big decision for umpires and match officials in domestic cricket. There will be a big increase in the umpires' fees from the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The main phase of the new domestic season will begin with the Ranji Trophy on October 11.
