B.C. daycare ordered to pay family $4,500 after expelling kids

Tensions between the daycare and parents arose after one of the kids came down with a suspected case of hand, foot and mouth disease

Daycare De Hummeltjes in Molenbergstraat will have to close its doors in mid-May. The Agency for Growing Up has revoked the permit and an objection by the operator to an independent advisory committee was rejected. The parents of some forty children currently being cared for there will have to look for a new place.
