- Supporters helped her reach the £500,000 mark on Tuesday and later revealed she raised £1,002,869, which moved her to tears, BBC Radio 2's Sara Cox said.
- Support from colleagues and fans included Staindrop CE Primary schoolchildren, a 40-tractor guard of honour and Gethin Jones, while Radio listeners and fans said they were 'in tears' hearing her updates.
- Cameras are also following her journey, creating an hour-long broadcast available on iPlayer next Wednesday , while The One Show coverage continues and Children in Need 2025 airs Friday .
