NEW YORK, JUL 22 – Alvarez returned from Triple-A after batting .476 with seven homers in six games to help the Mets overcome a four-run deficit and win 7-5 against the Angels.

- Following a.476 average since July 11, Francisco Alvarez, catcher, was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse after mashing 11 homers in 19 games.
- In the seventh, Juan Soto’s two-run single and in the eighth, Alvarez’s double, followed by Nimmo’s sacrifice fly, led the Mets to a 7-5 victory.
