Barnesville Blood Bash continues tradition as Tri-State’s largest single-day drive

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) -- The 41st Annual Barnesville Blood Bash has been going strong since eight o'clock this morning. The blood drive by Vitalant is held at the Barnesville High School, but gets more adult donors than students. Some students don't meet the age or weight requirements to donate, but they can volunteer at the refreshment canteen. And each student is asked to get two adults signed up to give blood.
