MONTEREY — Barbara Jean Klein Hevener, 97, of Monterey, passed away Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at her home.
She was born Sept. 12, 1928, and raised on Long Island, N.Y., a daughter of the late William L. and Mildred Hall Klein.
On May 3, 1952, she married James Boice Hevener, who preceded her in death Jan. 17, 2003.
