Alstom has signed a contract for the delivery of an additional 26 Coradia Max double-decker trains to Landesanstalt Schienenfahrzeuge Baden-Württemberg (SFBW), the regional public agency responsible for the acquisition, financing and management of rolling stock in Baden-Württemberg. Indefatigable in taking orders, Alstom announced on Thursday 15 January that it had signed a contract for the delivery of 26 additional Coradia-type trains to the German Land of Baden-Wurtenberg. "The value of this order for the 26 additional trains and the full long-term service contract amounts to about 500 million euros," according to a press release from the group. "In addition to the 2.5 billion euros a first order was placed for 130 trains.
