"We received 224,000 claims as of yesterday [Fourth]," said the president of the Portuguese Insurance Association, José Galamba de Oliveira, on the possible Commission for National Resilience, Prevention of Natural Disasters and Follow-up to Portugal Transformation, Recovery and Resilience (PTRR).

The Portuguese Association of Seguradores announced today, in Lisbon, that 224,000 participations were received due to the bad weather that reached the country at the beginning of the year and that 96% of the private-related claims are regularized.
