In view of the recent problems experienced in the functioning of the programme for the early detection of breast cancer in Andalusia, the Screening Working Group of the Spanish Society of Epidemiology (SEE) is concerned about the low participation rates in programmes for the early detection of breast, colorectal and cervical cancer, especially in colon cancer.

The Council assumes that there has been an error that was repaired without causing any damage to the treatments for those affected.The Ayuso government was wrong to send results of colon cancer screening
