Avon Lake – With Earth Day celebrated on April 22 and International Compost Awareness Week the first week in May, most residents may not know of a pair of programs in Avon Lake that serve the entire area and help to make the world a little more green. And, the programs have a positive impact on the planet and on one’s wallet.
