Finnair cancels 128 flights as labour dispute grounds operations
Finnair will cancel 128 flights on Thursday 19 June due to a four-hour walkout by ground handling and catering staff, as a labour dispute between the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU) and employer group Palta enters its sixth month. The disruption will affect more than 8,200 passengers, according to the airline. Finnair stated that it is contacting affected customers directly to offer alternative flight arrangements.

These four-hour strikes target different shifts and thus affect many essential functions on Finnair flights throughout the day, such as groundhandling operations and catering services.
