SESTRIERE – This afternoon, Saturday, February 7, an avalanche occurred at the San Giacomo Pass, in the municipality of Sestriere, in an area outside the ski resorts. A ski mountaineer, one of a group of four, was swept away. Fortunately, the man was not buried and was able to proceed downhill on his own.
