Ukrainian and Bulgarian police have taken apart a drug operation that ran from a lab in Bulgaria to dealers in Ukraine. Ukrainian and Bulgarian law enforcement agencies conducted a joint special operation against the international drug scheme.
The Bulgarian authorities discovered and destroyed a clandestine laboratory of high capacity for fentanyl production in Sofia. Illegal manufacturing could produce between six and ten kilograms of drugs per day, and intervention required special protective measures due to the extremely dangerous substances used in the manufacturing process.
"Today we closed a fentanyl production laboratory. The main producers have been arrested, charges will be filed and further arrests are imminent," said the Interior Minister. The post Bulgaria shuts down fentanyl laboratory that supplied the entire country appeared first on in.gr.
The Bulgarian police general directorate said the laboratory was located in the Sofia suburb of Filipovtsi and was of advanced technology.
