Ukrainian and Bulgarian law enforcement agencies conducted a joint special operation against the international drug scheme.
The Bulgarian authorities discovered and destroyed a clandestine laboratory of high capacity for fentanyl production in Sofia. Illegal manufacturing could produce between six and ten kilograms of drugs per day, and intervention required special protective measures due to the extremely dangerous substances used in the manufacturing process.
