Austria's Curling team celebrates its first World Cup victory since 1983
On Wednesday, Austria's team was able to cheer over the first win at the highest curling world championship level since 1983. Skip Mathias Genner's team in the ninth tournament match in Moose Jaw in Canada had a clear 11:4 win over South Korea. In the table, the Austrians are two points ahead of the pointless South Koreans 12th. "We had a few tight games, but not yet a win, so we are very happy to have managed it," said Genner.
