AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta University softball team split its doubleheader with SAC preseason favorite Lenoir-Rhyne on Friday at Jaguar Field, falling 7-5 in eight innings in game one before responding with a 4-2 victory in the nightcap.

AUGUSTA, GA - The Lenoir-Rhyne softball team split with Augusta on Friday, winning the opener 7-5 in extras before falling 4-2 in the nightcap. Montana Honeycutt and Kynlee Dextraze both went yard for the first time in their career while Lani Warren hit her first home run of the season.
