Oklahoma Revenue Reaches $18 Billion

Oklahoma state revenue reached $18 billion over the past 12 months, continuing a yearlong stretch of growth, according to Oklahoma Treasurer Todd Russ. The August State Tax Revenue Report shows revenue for the 12 months ending in August increased $1.3 billion, or 6.1%, compared to the same period a year earlier. August collections totaled $1.3 billion, up $47.2 million, or 3.7%, from August 2025. “August’s numbers show Oklahoma’s economy continuing to move in a positive direction,” Russ said. “Annual revenue has reached $18 billion, with growth across several major tax sources, while manufacturing remains firmly in expansion territory.” Sales and use tax collections totaled $631 million in August, an increase of 6.1% from a year ago. Individual and corporate income taxes totaled $392.2 million, up 1.6%, while gross production taxes increased 16.5% to $100 million. Motor vehicle tax collections declined 14.5% to $61.1 million. The report marked the 12th consecutive month of growth in the state’s rolling 12-month revenue total.
