Yemeni government forces intensified their air attacks against the Houthis, revealing more than a thousand operations in four days, reversing the intensity of fighting between the two parties and possibly as part of the army ' s preparations for a large ground operation.
Operations took place on 10 fronts across country, says army
On Monday, the Yemeni armed forces announced the killing and wounding of some 476 Houthi militia members during 356 precise targeting operations involving military reinforcements and capabilities of the militia over the past 24 hours.
If they failed to repel the Houthists or win over the vast parts of the territory conquered in September by the pro-Iranian militia, the Yemeni forces have succeeded in curbing their fulcruming progress and are supported by Saudi Arabia, which seems to be preparing for a major military intervention, reports the local press.
