Vedaant Madhavan’s Asian Games debut began with a setback as India finished ninth in the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay and missed the final in Aichi-Nagoya. The 21-year-old swimmer, son of actor R Madhavan, clocked 7:24.32 alongside Sajan Prakash, Dhakshan Shashikumar and Aneesh Sunil. Vedaant still has two individual events remaining, with the 200m freestyle on September 23 and 200m backstroke on September 25.
