Asian electronics giant appears ready to bring McKinney HQ, manufacturing campus to life

After a Taiwanese electronics giant confirmed plans in July to invest more than $900 million in a North American headquarters and manufacturing facility in McKinney, the company appears ready to begin bringing the project to life. Over the next several years, Lite-On plans to invest a total of $919 million in the McKinney campus and create more than 600 jobs, making it one of the largest private investments in the city’s history.
