Game interrupted, police horses on the square – Dynamo Dresden rises

Dynamo Dresden secured promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. Then the fans stormed the pitch – and chaos broke out. Pyrotechnics were thrown and police horses were forced to intervene.

The defeat in Mannheim cannot cloud the festive mood: Dynamo Dresden makes the ascent perfect – even if the last away game radiates little splendor.

Despite the 0:1 defeat at SV Waldhof Mannheim last Saturday, the return of Dynamo Dresden to the 2nd Bundesliga is already fixed on Saturday before the last day of the match. In the last two seasons it should not be, but now the SG Dynamo Dresden returns in the second highest German Spieclass. And this ascent of Saxony is more than deserved.
