As the urgency to address climate change increases, disputes related to this crisis also grow rapidly. From legal actions seeking to hold governments accountable to complaints about greenwashing practices, climate disputes have experienced a marked increase in recent years. Between 2017 and 2022, the number of registered cases rose from 884 to 2180. In 2023, this growth began to stabilize, although more than 230 new cases were reported.
