The head of the General Security Service at Rafiq Hariri International Airport in Beirut issued a circular to all airlines stating that, as of 2026/10/10, Lebanese passports would cease to operate from the 2003 non-biometric model and would be prohibited from leaving there. On entry into Lebanon, Lebanese passport holders from the 2003 non-biometric model would be allowed to come to Lebanon.
