Carrier Qbuzz will continue to provide bus transport in Friesland. The company took over the concession from competitor Arriva at the end of 2024, but Arriva disagreed and filed objections with several authorities. Arriva's last appeal with the Trade and Industry Appeals Tribunal was recently withdrawn. "This means that the concession award to Qbuzz has become final," the province of Friesland reports.
