Long-time Baltimore City Elections Director Armstead Jones has died. He was 71. News of his death was announced on the floor of the House of Delegates at the end of Saturday’s session by Baltimore City Delegate Melissa Wells, who said Jones died on Friday night, hours after his retirement was announced.
