Former 2025 IU basketball target with connection to DeVries reopens recruitment

7-foot center Fridrik Leo Curtis visited Indiana in December before ultimately committing to Arizona State. But prior to that IU visit, the product of Iceland took a visit to West Virginia and their then head coach Darian DeVries. Indiana, West Virginia and Arizona State were the only three visits he took. Arizona State Loses Four-Star High School Basketball Commit

On Friday morning, Bobby Hurley and the Arizona State Sun Devils lost a committed high school prospect in the Class of 2025, four-star center Leo Curtis. Curtis, a 7-foot-1 center from Iceland, committed to the Sun Devils in January over offers from multiple big-time programs.   Coming out of CATS Academy in the Class of 2025, Curtis was listed as a four-star prospect by the On3Index at the time of his commitment.
