NEW YORK, 24th September, 2026 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates and the Argentine Republic issued a joint statement regarding trade and investment and the launch of negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.The announcement followed a meeting today in New York between Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyo
The Foreign Ministry reported that both countries will begin to work on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. They will target commercial sectors for goods and services. They also highlighted investments linked to the Argentina LNG project.
