Motorola Partners with GrapheneOS for Future Phones
Motorola will pre-install the privacy-focused, de-Googled GrapheneOS on a future smartphone and bring select features to other devices to enhance security.
- At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Motorola announced a long-term partnership with the GrapheneOS Foundation to pre-install GrapheneOS on a future Motorola smartphone and add features to other devices.
- GrapheneOS, developed by the GrapheneOS Foundation, is a hardened, privacy-focused OS described as a leading nonprofit in mobile security and has run exclusively on Google Pixel devices until now.
