AR Rahman to Perform at Attari Border to Pay Musical Tribute to BSF Soldiers Ahead of Main Vaapas Aaunga Release
The special performance will honor Border Security Force soldiers and promote the film Main Vaapas Aaunga, whose theatrical release is set for June 12, 2026.
Oscar and Grammy-winning composer Rahman will perform at the Attari Border as a musical tribute to the Border Security Force, the makers of the upcoming film Main Vaapas Aaunga announced on Saturday.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the musical film features music by Rahman and lyrics by Irshad Kamil, following the success of Ali's acclaimed biopic Amar Singh Chamkila on Netflix.
Joining Rahman at the event are director Imtiaz Ali, actor Vedang Raina, and singers Mohit Chauhan, Pooja Tiwari, and Nargis. The tribute will be held at JCP Stadium Atari Border between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
Titled 'Jai Ho – A Tribute to the Bravehearts,' the special performance expresses deep respect for BSF soldiers' courage and sacrifice. Rahman will sing his iconic hit 'Jai Ho' during the ceremony.
Slated for theatrical release soon, the romantic drama features Sharvari Wagh and Vedang Narang and has generated significant buzz through its trailer and promotional teasers. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film's arrival.
