Apple will modify its consent notices for tracking in applications distributed in the European Union, following an antitrust investigation led by the German regulator. The change does not eliminate the user’s authorization, but allows for less intimidating designs, texts and buttons in five countries, while reopening the debate on privacy, advertising and unequal treatment against the company’s own applications.
