Apple Music supplies DJs with new mixing catalog and tools

On March 25, Apple Music launched DJ with Apple Music, an integrated experience with leading DJ software and hardware platforms, providing access to its catalog of over 100 million songs for free to subscribers.
Building on the 2021 launch of Apple Music DJ Mixes and the December launch of Apple Music Club, Apple Music is committed to supporting DJs by seamlessly connecting its service with industry-leading DJ tools.
This integration empowers both experienced and aspiring DJs to easily access, play, and discover music in real time to create and rehearse their sets on platforms like AlphaTheta, Serato, and inMusic's Engine DJ.
According to Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic & DJ Mixes at Apple Music, this innovation "brings the full power of Apple Music into the creative workflow," reinforcing Apple Music's commitment to DJs.
The new DJ with Apple Music category page within the Apple Music app will showcase DJ-friendly playlists, curator pages for software and hardware partners, and mixes for inspiration, as Apple Music joins other platforms like SoundCloud and Tidal in providing tooling for song creation and remixing.
