Apple Strengthens Gulf Presence with Saudi Online Store
SAUDI ARABIA, JUL 22 – Apple's new online store and app offer Arabic support, personalized shopping, flexible payments, and trade-in programs, with local developer earnings growing 1,750% since 2019, Apple said.
- On July 22, 2025, Apple launched its online store and Apple Store app in Riyadh, offering direct Arabic support and full product access in Saudi Arabia.
- Without a direct retail presence, Saudi customers depended on authorized resellers, and Apple had established a Developer Academy in Riyadh in 2021 with local partners.
- Additionally, customers can trade in or recycle devices and use Tamara’s zero-interest payment plan, while select products receive free bilingual engraving.
- Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and People, said, `We are thrilled to bring the Apple Store online and the Apple Store app to Saudi Arabia`, and customers also receive two years of AppleCare+ priority support.
- Starting in 2026, Apple plans flagship retail openings in Saudi Arabia, including a Diriyah store at a UNESCO World Heritage site.
