The "Itim" organization opposes the intention to appoint Rabbi Eliyahu to the Kashrut Committee at a time when his son, Rabbi Ariel Eliyahu, allegedly owned a private kashrut body until a year ago, and that private body considers him a halachic authority in matters of kashrut.
