Former biathlon star Anders Besseberg lost his appeal in Norway's equivalent of the Court of Appeal. The 79-year-old was sentenced to three years in prison without parole, NTB reports.
Judged on appeal for acts of "aggravated corruption" during his time as President of the IBU, Anders Besseberg received his sentence confirmed this Tuesday. He received a three-year prison sentence, and filed a new appeal to the Supreme Court.
