- Company benchmarks indicate Haiku scored 73% on SWE-Bench and 41% on Terminal-Bench and pricing is $1 per million input tokens and $5 per million output tokens.
- Haiku 4.5 will be the default for Claude.ai free users and is available to developers via API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and included for Claude web and app subscribers.
- Smaller models, Anthropic says, can cut server energy and costs, with Haiku 4.5 earning AI Safety Level 2 for its lower misaligned behaviors in internal tests.
