Another longtime Market Basket executive fired, former CEO says

On September 30, the Market Basket Board of Directors dismissed long-time finance executive Susan Dufresne via an emailed letter, expanding leadership turmoil.
Susan Dufresne, a 30-year Market Basket finance veteran, said `My actions since May 28 have been out of dedication and loyalty to the Company and all its people, including the high standards, values and ethics of the late Mr. Telemachus Demoulas and Mr. Arthur T. Demoulas.`
The board wrote in its termination letter that Dufresne disclosed confidential information and made unauthorized, inaccurate statements in the Boston Globe and Boston Herald.
With her firing, the board has now removed seven of the company's eight top executives, and Demoulas called her 'respected and admired for her professionalism and financial expertise.'
The family feud first became public in May when the board put Artie T. Demoulas on paid leave, and last week he filed a counterclaim seeking reinstatement in a Delaware court.
