Annie Ruth Berry Vassar, 86, passed away on Tuesday, Mar. 10, 2026. She was born on Aug. 27, 1939 in Edgerly, La.  She graduated from Vinton High School in 1957, and married her lifelong love, Winzy Vassar Jr., in October 1957.  She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur.  She was very active in many church organizations, including the Ladies Altar Society and the Calcasieu Cajun Club Bingo.  She has also s…
