- The quake left widespread destruction, affecting 128,464 families or 455,631 individuals, with Bogo City recording 27,967 families and 18,154 damaged houses.
- VinFast and Green GSM together donated 10 million Philippine Pesos to Cebu Province, with Green GSM delivering 500 relief packages from October 1, Mr. Dao Quy Phi said.
- Analgesic Healthcare said it will continue monitoring needs as the Philippine government mobilized search, rescue, medical and emergency teams and evacuation centers served 405 families.
- Authorities warned sinkholes and ground cracks could worsen, as Mines and Geosciences Bureau Central Visayas issued a Subsidence Threat Advisory after finding sinkholes and a ground rupture stretching to about 1.5 kilometers.
