On Thursday morning, employees of Hanon Systems Hungary Kft. announced an indefinite strike at the South Korean company's factory in Székesfehérvár because the employer is still not responding in a meaningful way to the demands of the employees, who want a uniform 10 percent wage increase at three locations in the country.

The employees of Hanon Systems Hungary Kft.'s Székesfehérvár location went on an indefinite strike on the morning of September 10. According to the employees, the company has still not responded to their demands in a meaningful way, and their requests to the company's Korean top management have not been answered. The strike committee emphasized that they remain ready for negotiations and their goal is to reach an agreement.
The workers are unanimously demanding a 10 percent wage increase, the company offered 4 percent, and did not fully meet that either.
The employer continues to fail to respond to the employees' demands. Hanon Systems Hungary employees went on strike again on Thursday.
