The inspection took place on Thursday 5 June, after the opening of an investigation and suspicions of the presence of an illegal farm. On a farm in Palau-del-Vidre, near Argelès-sur-Mer, the agents of the Directorate of Population Protection of the Pyrénées-Orientales discovered about 100 undeclared sheep.
A few days ago, agents of the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of the Populations of the Pyrénées-Orientales (DDPP) seized 106 sheep in a livestock farm in Palau-del-Vidre.
