An explosive-loaded drone was found on Thursday morning in the court of a house left in an hour from the Republic of Moldova, on the border with Ukraine. The authorities decided to detonate it on the spot.
Two incidents related to Russia occurred in the Republic of Moldova on the morning of Thursday, 22 January, on the day that President Maia Sandu scheduled the press conference for the beginning of the year.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova described the incident as a "gross violation of sovereignty" and condemned the Russian war against Ukraine.
