Pilot biometric checks were introduced on Sunday for all foreign nationals and stateless persons entering and leaving Russia at Moscow airports and at the Mastakovo cargo and passenger checkpoint in the Orenburg region.
Foreigners and stateless people will have to submit biometric personal data to be able to cross the Russian border. This measure has begun to operate at airports in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as at the Mashtakovo automobile checkpoint in the Orenburg Region.
