Amherst, Avon Lake boys bowling, Open Door girls qualify for state tournaments

The Amherst and Avon Lake boys bowling teams are headed to the Division I state tournament. Also on their way to Columbus are the Open Door girls, who qualified in Division II. The D-II boys and girls state tournaments are Feb. 27 and 28 at H.P. Lanes in Columbus. The D-I state boys and girls state tournaments are scheduled for March 6 and 7, also at H.P. Lanes in Columbus.
