Last December, when the Seimas was considering amendments to the Law on the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT), after MP Agnė Širinskienė's cat Nuodėgulis became famous, an initiative was launched in the parliament to prohibit politicians from abusing the right of legislative initiative.
