Amal Jumblat and staying in the dark

Very few people hear the name of the Lebanese Francophone poet Amal Jumblat (1949/1982) and few mention her, even though she is a descendant of a bourgeois and intellectual Druze family with long roots in wealth, welfare and culture. She is the cousin of the late political leader Kamal Jumblatt and the wife of the rebel and problematic poet Said Akl for only fifty days.
