LOVELAND, Colorado — Brainerd’s Piper Grillo opened the Western Region High School Championships with a seventh-place finish in the women’s giant slalom for team Minnesota Sunday, March 15. Grillo opened with the 11th fastest run of 46.03 and then posted the seventh-fastest second run in 42.51. Her combined 1:28.54 was good for seventh overall.
