According to the "Sales and Consumption" report prepared by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), wholesale self-service sales registered an 8.4% year-on-year decrease in August, while supermarket sales increased by a mere 0.34%, with a monthly drop of 0.23%.
