- Jurors heard family members say Kate McCann found a letter left at her home deeply disturbing and that Amelie McCann became alarmed after Wandelt's contact, showing the family's distress.
- Supporting Wandelt, Karen Spragg told officers she met Wandelt on social media, treated her like a daughter, and said, `I believe Julia is telling the truth and police didn't listen to her.
