This June, the National Centre for the Film Industry of Algeria was dissolved... to give way to the Algerian Centre for the Development of Cinema (CADC) to expanded missions, including the exploitation of cinemas. Along with the monitoring of film production and international collaborations, the CADC will be responsible for promoting and "encouraging" private investment in the exploitation sector, but also for creating and managing cinemas.
