Alcoa has demanded a "competitive and stable" electric price in view of its objective of operating "no losses for 2027" in the aluminium plant of San Cibrao, in Cervo (Lugo), while the company committee has asked for investment and "concrete dates" on the construction of the furnace of anode cooking. In turn, central government and Xunta see progress after meeting the Commission of Follow-up to the Agreement of Feasibility of the said plant.
